Job Description:

We are looking for a resilient, emphatic Business Development Manager to contribute to the growth of our company. Business development Manager will be responsible for finding and retaining clients, encouraging extant clients to purchase added products or features, and remaining abreast of changes in consumption.

An outstanding Business Development Manager will keep a close eye on clients’ feedback to ensure that our products and services always exceed expectations.

  • Familiarizing you with all products and services offered by our company.
  • Researching current and future market trends.
  • Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids using websites like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru etc. and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work.
  • Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points of your
  • organization, knowing your company’s operating and profit margins and understanding the clients’ specific requirements.
  • Responding to client’s queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted.
  • Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risk associated to the bid the company is working on.
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
  • Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
  • Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
  • Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in Project management and sales
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and software
  • High attention to detail and a focus on fact – based decision making
  • Professional yet affable disposition.
