Job Overview
Working under general supervision, the Data Entry Specialist – Business Operations Support contributes to Wawanesa’s success by providing data entry support to regional P&C operations to achieve business goals and service level targets.

 

Job Responsibilities

Facilitate the achievement of regional service level standards through efficient data entry and with a high degree of accuracy.
Process policy-related transactions, including new submissions, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
Enhance insurance operations skills and knowledge by participating in cross-training and learning additional processes and procedures to support multiple workflows and contribute to effectiveness of team operations.
Understand rating procedures, wordings, underwriting policies and regulations across various geographical regions.
Adapt effectively to immediate changes in business needs and expectations.
Uphold effective communication with internal and external stakeholders through various channels.
Deliver on department quality and productivity standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education or related business experience.
Pursuit of a Property and Casualty industry designation is considered an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to provide justification.
Strong customer service skills.
Demonstrated planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
