BLACKBIRD SECURITY INC.
As the Invoicing Assistant, you will be part of our Accounting team, ultimately reporting to our Accounting Manager and the CFO. You will support our efforts in AR and Invoicing, participating in processing, and ensuring collections on roughly 400 invoices bi-weekly for our clients across Canada!
This is a vital position within our company and needs someone ready to take ownership of our Invoicing and work in a self-directed manner.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess great time-management skills, and have a good understanding of the generally accepted accounting principles and customer service.
This position is full-time and will be a blended role of working from our Vancouver, BC office and working from home.
Maintain an accurate record of AR transactions.
Update and maintain invoicing records.
Reconciliation of AR and invoices.
Process and send out invoices bi-weekly.
Effectively and professionally communicating with clients.
Identify and rectify any invoicing issues.
Communicate with clients to obtain payments within a timely manner.
Prepare and present reports to the necessary management teams as required.
Support all AR/Invoicing functions.
Provide support to the Financial Controller or CFO as required.
Provide support to the executive leadership team on projects and tasks as required.
Various other duties as assigned.
1-3 years of relevant administrative or accounting experience.
Experience using Quick books.
Post-secondary education or other courses in related fields is an asset.
Accounts Receivable and/or Invoicing experience preferred.
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and maintain a high attention to detail.
Experience using TrackTik is an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Able to report to the Vancouver, BC office on a regular or as-needed basis.
