Duty Medical Officer
Job Description
Shall evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illness and injuries
Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedures
Supervise medical assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Evaluate effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements
Prescribe, administer and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal statutes
Assist Medical officer in identifying and resolving workplace issues
Shall be responsible for diagnosis and treatment of all cases pertaining to their specialty and must be available to examine and consult/advise on any particular case, if requested, by any of the colleagues.
Shall call, when required, other specialists to help in arriving at a correct decision in making a diagnosis and charting out the treatment.
Shall make regular ward rounds as per the procedure of the hospital and ensure proper patient care is provided by the staff concerned. Lapses in patient care must promptly be reported to the Senior Medical Officer/MD/JMD.
Shall be responsible for declaring a patient “seriously ill” when the necessity arises and for making an endorsement in the case sheet as well as notifying the Senior Medical Officer/Ward Incharge
Shall be responsible for endorsing in case sheet the type of diet required.
Shall attend promptly to acutely ill patients and make arrangements for immediate admission.
Shall analyse cases of complications and failures, arrive at conclusions and take up the matter with Doctor – Directors
Shall be responsible for the proper care and use of all special equipment under their care and notify promptly to the Directors any defects/loss noticed.
Shall instruct and guide technicians under them in the proper medical techniques and treatment.
Shall attend to the certification of Medico Legal Cases.
Shall be responsible for signing the discharge summary and also shall give discharge advice.
Shall supervise and coordinate all physiotherapy/mobilization protocols for patients
Shall conduct any medical research or publish suitable medical articles with the concurrence of the Directors
Shall be involved in the teaching programs of the College/School of Nursing/Para-medicals, if required.
Shall be available for all emergency calls and operations, when required.
Shall be authorized to issue death certificates.
Any other duty given by the Directors.

Salary: ₹45,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
