Warehouse Operative
Job Description
To provide accurate picking, checking and processing of pharmaceutical goods, in addition to stock maintenance and achieving order turn-round targets.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Accurately picking, checking and processing orders for dispatch
· Providing handover of processed orders to courier drivers
· Ensuring processed orders are dispatched according to temperature disciplines i.e. Cold Chain lines
· Maintaining cleanliness and integrity of the Warehouse areas at all times
· To raise any incidents, suggestions, quality related matters or concerns to your line manager
· To perform routine and spot stock control takes
· To keeping accurate records at all times
· Palletising stock in the warehouse environment
· Handling & receipt of incoming goods
· Logging order and stock information in relevant folders and in house computer system
· Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items
· Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate
· Ensuring that all received goods are stored in the correct locations safely i.e. Controlled Drugs, Flammable materials, Temperature sensitive etc.
· Demonstrate strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other relevant working aids i.e. Job aids
· Compliance with company Health and Safety policies
· Participation in, and successful completion of all relevant work based training
· Maintenance of personal training folder in an auditable state at all times
· Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers
· Completing any other designated tasks, as necessary
· Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the departmental heads, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.
– A clean driving license is essential (FULL UK)

Working Hours:
- 8 hours per day
- 08:00 – 21:00 (within this time range)
- Monday to Friday

Job Duties:
- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Move and stack materials
- Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
- Occasional local deliveries in company van
