For the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) Fourth Class Employee Direct Recruitment 2024 — Advertisement No. 19/2024, 53,749 posts — the written result and cut-off for document verification were declared on 16 January 2026, and since then shortlisted candidates have faced one question again and again: which documents do I actually carry on the DV day? Document verification (DV) for this recruitment is not held at one place on one date. It runs department-wise and division-wise: the main rounds ran in February–April 2026, and allotted departments were still calling candidates in fresh batches in late October 2026. This page gives you the Rajasthan 4th Grade DV document list exactly as the board’s own DV notices name it, explains the Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form every candidate must fill first, and walks through what happens at the venue. Where a tip is general preparation advice rather than a line from the notice, we say so.
Quick Answer. Carry the Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form in 2 copies, your original certificates — education, age, caste and domicile among them — with 2 self-attested photocopy sets, a downloaded e-Aadhaar copy showing the QR code, photo ID proof, 2 recent passport-size photographs, and an NOC if you are already in service.
Who Is Called for Document Verification, and When
Who gets the call. Only candidates who cleared the written examination and figured in the result and cut-off for document verification declared on 16 January 2026 are called. In the Non-TSP area, the General category cut-off for DV was 146.3279 marks (male) and 135.6506 (female) — the full category-wise table is in the board’s “Merit wise result and Cut Off Marks for Document Verification” document. Being called for DV is an eligibility check, not a final selection — the board verifies that your application’s claims are backed by real documents.
When and where it happens. The main DV rounds ran in February–April 2026, organised department-wise and division-wise after allotment. The process did not end there: the board’s Latest News carried a fresh schedule in October 2026 — “Fourth Class Employee 2024: Schedule For Document Verification of Provisionally Selected Candidates (Instructions regarding Scrutiny Form, Checklist and Formats)” — under which a batch of 77 candidates of the School Education Department, Jaipur division, was called on 27 October 2026 at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. A Land Revenue Department letter likewise called its allotted candidates for document and health verification on 29 September 2026. If your roll number has not been called yet, your batch may still come.
How you will know your turn. DV calls are issued through roll-number lists and schedule notices — on the board’s website and through the allotted department or division office (the Jaipur notice of 23 October 2026 came from the Office of the Joint Director, School Education). Rajasthan 4th Grade DV Document List – What the Board’s Notice Asks For
The list below follows the board’s DV instructions for this recruitment — the same items the October 2026 DV notice repeated for the latest batch.
| Document | What to Carry |
|---|---|
| Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form | 2 copies, filled online first (filling it online is mandatory); self-attested copies of all documents attached in the order given in the board’s checklist/annexure |
| Application fee deposit receipt | Self-attested copy of the fee deposited for the application |
| Educational qualification certificates | Originals, with self-attested photocopies |
| Age proof | Original certificate carrying your date of birth, with self-attested photocopies |
| Caste certificate | Original, if you claimed SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS reservation, with self-attested photocopies |
| Domicile (bonafide) certificate | Original, with self-attested photocopies |
| Character certificate | Original, with self-attested photocopies |
| Special ability (PwD) certificate | Original, if you claimed a disability category |
| Marriage certificate / declaration | If applicable to your case |
| Sports certificate | Original, if you claimed the sports quota |
| Service / experience certificate | If applicable to your case |
| No Objection Certificate (NOC) | From the competent authority, if you are already in service |
| Identity proof | Original photo ID card |
| e-Aadhaar copy | Downloaded e-Aadhaar print showing the QR code |
| Photographs | 2 recent passport-size photographs |
| Affidavit / declaration formats | Filled in the board’s prescribed formats, where the notice pack asks for them |
Originals plus copies — both are compulsory. Photocopies alone are never enough, because the team matches every copy against the original in front of you.
General preparation — our advice, not the board’s list. Carry one extra photocopy set beyond the two asked for, keep the application form print and written-exam admit card at the back of the file, and keep phone copies of every document as backup. This is preparation help only — the table above is the requirement.
The Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form – Fill This Before You Travel
What it is. The Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form is the board’s record of you: your application details, the documents you are producing, and the checklist against which the team ticks each one. The board publishes it with its DV schedule, under “Instructions regarding Scrutiny Form, Checklist and Formats” — the same notice pack carries the affidavit and declaration formats the board wants used, so download them from there.
How to fill it. Filling the form online is mandatory. Fill it on the board’s website, attach self-attested copies of your documents with the form in the order prescribed in the annexure, and carry 2 printed copies to the venue. Every entry — name, date of birth, category, qualification — must match your application and certificates exactly.
If you genuinely could not fill it online. The notice allows one narrow fallback: download and print the form from the board’s website, fill it by hand, and attend the verification with a ₹100 postal order payable to the Secretary, Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur, along with the reason.
What Happens on the DV Day – Step by Step
- Reach the venue named in your batch notice before the reporting time — the October batch, for example, was called at 9:00 AM.
- Your roll number is checked against the board’s list for that batch, and your attendance is marked.
- Hand over the 2 copies of the Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form with the self-attested document sets, arranged in the board’s checklist order.
- The team compares every original certificate with its copies and with your application — qualification, age, category and the other claims you made.
- If a document is missing, unclear or in the wrong format, the team records it on the spot. What they tell you there decides what you must do next, so listen carefully before you leave.
- Originals are checked and handed back at the venue — do not walk away without yours.
Common Mistakes That Cost Candidates Their Chance
Arriving without the scrutiny form. The form is the file the whole check runs on. Fill it online, print 2 copies, and keep them on top of your folder.
Bringing copies but not originals. A folder of photocopies alone cannot be verified. If the original certificate exists, it travels with you — the notice promises no “I will show it later” round.
Unsigned photocopies. The sets must be self-attested. An unsigned copy is treated as an incomplete set.
Details that do not match. A name spelled differently in the application and the certificate, or a date of birth that differs between documents, is exactly what scrutiny is designed to catch. Compare application, form and certificates before the DV day.
Serving candidates without an NOC. If you are already in service, the No Objection Certificate from your competent authority is part of the notice’s list. Apply for it as soon as your batch is announced — it is rarely issued overnight.
Not turning up on the scheduled date. DV runs in named batches on named dates, and a candidate who simply does not appear puts the candidature itself at risk. If something unavoidable stops you, follow your notice’s instructions and contact the board or the allotted department immediately rather than staying silent.
After Document Verification – What Comes Next
Scrutiny decides the final lists. Candidates whose documents are found in order move to selection. The board issued the merit-wise lists of finally selected candidates after document verification on 29 June 2026, and a Final Recommendation and Cut Off Marks (List-2) followed on 7 August 2026. Departments then take over allotment and joining; at least one department’s call combined document and health verification, so read your department’s letter fully.
And if a selected candidate does not join? The seat does not stay empty forever — it is exactly the situation the waiting list exists for. We track that side of this recruitment separately: read our Rajasthan 4th Grade Waiting List 2026 page for the latest status — final lists out, waiting list not released yet — and the rule the board will follow when it is compiled. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What documents are required for Rajasthan 4th Grade document verification?
The board’s DV notice asks for the Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form in 2 copies, original certificates for educational qualification, age, caste, domicile, character, special ability, marriage, sports and service status where applicable, self-attested photocopies, a copy of the deposited fee, identity proof, a downloaded e-Aadhaar copy showing the QR code, and 2 recent passport-size photographs. Serving candidates must also bring an NOC.
What is the Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form, and where do I fill it?
It is the board’s verification record for each candidate — your application details and the checklist against which your documents are checked. Filling it online on the board’s website is mandatory. Print 2 copies, attach self-attested copies of your documents in the order given in the board’s annexure, and carry the set to your DV venue.
I could not fill the scrutiny form online. What should I do?
The notice allows a narrow fallback for a solid, unavoidable reason: download and print the form from the board’s website, fill it in, and attend the verification with a ₹100 postal order payable to the Secretary, Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur, along with the reason. It is an exception, not an alternative for everyone.
How many photocopy sets are needed for RSSB 4th Grade DV?
Carry 2 copies of the Detailed Form cum Scrutiny Form with self-attested copies of all your documents, arranged in the order prescribed in the board’s checklist. Originals must travel with you — the team matches every copy against them at the venue.
Is the e-Aadhaar with QR code compulsory at DV?
Yes — the DV notice asks candidates to bring a copy of the downloaded e-Aadhaar showing the QR code, along with an identity card. Download a fresh copy before your DV day so the QR code prints clearly.
I am already in government service. Do I need an NOC for DV?
Yes. The notice requires a No Objection Certificate issued by the competent authority if you are serving. Apply for it as soon as your DV batch is announced, because it is issued by your own office and can take time.
Is document verification still going on for Rajasthan 4th Grade?
Yes, in batches. The main rounds ran in February–April 2026, department-wise and division-wise. Fresh batches were still being called in late October 2026 — for example, 77 candidates of the School Education Department, Jaipur division, on 27 October 2026. Watch the Latest News section of rssb.rajasthan.gov.in and your allotted department’s notices for your roll number, date, time and venue.
What happens if I miss my DV date?
You put your candidature at risk. DV is held in named batches on fixed dates, and the process moves on without absentees. If an unavoidable reason stops you, follow the instructions in your batch notice and contact the board or the allotted department immediately — do not assume another date will be offered.
Which caste and domicile certificates should I carry?
Carry the original caste certificate for the category you claimed in the application — SC, ST, OBC, MBC or EWS — and your original domicile (bonafide) certificate, each with self-attested photocopies. The team checks the claim in your form against the certificate itself, so the category on the certificate must be the category you applied under.
What happens after document verification?
Candidates whose documents are accepted move towards selection: for this recruitment the board issued the final selection lists on 29 June 2026 and a Final Recommendation List-2 on 7 August 2026, after which departments handle allotment and joining. Seats left vacant by candidates who do not join are filled from the waiting list — not released yet — so keep your documents ready even after DV.
