CGPA is converted as per the university’s own formula; if the university has no conversion scheme, divide the CGPA by the maximum CGPA and multiply by 100. 1. Open the DVC website www.dvc.gov.in, go to Career, then Recruitment Notices, and open the link for Advertisement No. PLR/ET/04/2026/05.
2. Fill the online application form. The form can be edited before submission, so check every detail — discipline, GATE paper, category and marks — before moving ahead.
3. Upload your photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) and signature in png, jpg or jpeg format, each up to 2 MB, along with your Class X and XII certificate, qualification certificate and GATE-2025 scorecard as PDFs, each up to 2 MB.

DVC Executive Trainee Selection Process 2026

Stage 1 – GATE-2025 merit. Merit is prepared from the marks obtained out of 100 in the corresponding GATE-2025 paper only. There is no written exam, no group discussion and no interview conducted by DVC. Candidates are shortlisted for Document Verification at a ratio of 1:5 or more to the category-wise vacancies in each discipline, and DVC may increase or decrease this ratio. All candidates tied at the cut-off marks are called for Document Verification.

Stage 2 – Document Verification. The date, time and venue of Document Verification are published on the DVC website only; no hard-copy call letters are sent by post. At Document Verification you must carry the original GATE-2025 admit card and the original GATE-2025 scorecard (with scanned photo and signature), 4 recent passport-size colour photographs, and an ID proof — Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter ID. Government, PSU and autonomous-body employees must also carry an NOC from their present employer.

Stage 3 – Medical examination. Candidates who clear Document Verification undergo a pre-employment medical examination by the DVC Medical Board. The Board’s decision is final and binding, and there is no relaxation in health standards.

Tie-breaking rule. If two candidates score the same GATE-2025 marks in the final merit, the older candidate by date of birth ranks first.

DVC Executive Trainee Salary 2026 and Service Bond

Selected candidates are placed in Pay Matrix Level 10, Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 (7th CPC, M2 grade) during the one-year probation period, and are absorbed as Assistant Manager on the same scale after probation. The package includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Encashment and HRA.
